Horace Clarke in discussion with Korean President

"Minister of Mining and Natural Resources and former Minister of Public Utilities and transport, Horace Clarke, in discussion with Korea's President Park Chung Hee during the Minister's visit to that country in November. They discussed matters of mutual interest including the possibility of a further Korean loan to Jamaica, trade expansion and economic co-operation. Korea recently made a US$5-million line of credit available to Jamaica. At left is Noel Hylton, Chairman of the Port Authority of Jamaica, who accompanied Mr. Clarke."
