"Labour and Employment Minister Ernest Pear (3rd from left at head table) answering a question on Tuesday at a meeting to discuss the placement off graduates of the new secondary schools. It was decided that the Ministries of Labour and Employment and Education would jointly continue an on-going public relations programme for the graduates until their graduation. It was also decided to meet with the different employment agencies and prospective employers so as to acquaint them with the skills the graduates will have. Others at the head table from left are Education Ministry special advisor Dr. Aubrey Phillips, Labour Ministry Permanent Secretary A. N. Leslie and Special Co-ordinator of the grades 10 and 11 programme Shirley Gordon."
