Description
"A Trench Town fireman crouches low to do a better job on this JOS bus at Rousseau Road yesterday afternoon. The officer in charge of the single Trench Town fire unit which put out the blaze that started at about 3:30 p.m. Sergeant L. McGhie, watches to see that the job is properly done. According to driver James Robinson he noticed smoke and fire when he stopped at the bus stop on Rousseau Road near it's intersection with Maxfield Avenue. He said some 30 people were in the vehicle when the fire started. The bus was badly burnt and was unable to move under its own power."
