"Jamaica Library Board chairman C. Stuart receiving one of the books presented to the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Library by Australian High Commissioner John Hoyle on Friday. At right is acting principal librarian Angela Gray. A total of 268 books, adult and junior, were presented to the Library by the High Commission. The books were on Australian wines, painting, history and beauty spots and other subjects such as art, cookery, science, engineering, plant and animal life, poetry, history and craft. The books will serve the entire library service as they will be circulated to other libraries through the inter-library loan system."
