"The Rt. Rev. J.C. Swaby, Anglican Bishop Suffragan of Kingston, consecrating the Jamaica Constabulary Force Standard at the presentation and consecrating ceremony held at the Spanish Town Square yesterday afternoon. Other members of clergy who took part in the consecration ceremony were from left: The Rev. Hugh Smythe, chaplain of the Jamaica Constabulary Force; the Rev. Atherton Didier, Chairman of the Jamaica Christian Council and the Rt. Rev. Samuel Carter, S.J. Roman Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of Kingston."
