"Blind eyes that see: A blind soothsayer (Easton Lee) holds up a symbol of the cross that he predicts Jesus will bear, in a scene from the popular Passion play "The Rope and The Cross", Mr. Lee is also writer-director of the play which is billed for the Manchester parish Church today, Mother's Day; St. Cyprian's Anglican Church, Highgate, May 20 and a final performance at SS Peter and Paul, Kingston, May 27."
