Title

A freshly cleaned Calabar School ground

Description

"Funny what a little exposure can do! Last week the Daily News carried a photograph of the rubber-strewn, water-logged front yard of Calabar Primary School. Yesterday the yard was beautifully clean after eight truckloads of debris had been removed. On Monday the children will have a decent play area at last. It was also observed that the old cistern had been removed and an old toilet building with fixtures had been taken away from the back of the school, and that plumbers were busy installing new pipes into the bathrooms. According to the caretaker, all the toilets are now working."
