"This was the scene on the "Highway of the Sun", about 70 miles south of Rome, on Tuesday, January 4, after 19 motor vehicles were involved in a chain collision, reportedly caused by poor visibility owing to fog over the highway. Eleven persons were killed and 19 injured in the mishap."
