Collision between Singer Vogue and Buick Le Sabre cars

"Head on: A collision between this white Singer Vogue and green Buick Le Sabre occurred on the bridge on Trafalgar Road above Spanish Court at about 3:30pm yesterday. The head on crash left the occupants of the Vogue, Carol Barnes (the driver), and seven year old Windy Elliott injured. Mr. Barnes has serious injuries to his throat, according to a doctor at the University Hospital where Mr. Barnes has been admitted. Little Windy's injuries were not thought to be serious up to press time when she was being x-rayed. The driver of the Buick, Carlton McDonald, 27, businessman, was not injured. He told the Daily News that he was proceeding west along Trafalgar Road and the Singer Vogue was travelling east when the collision took place. Both vehicles were extensively damaged."
