"Recently, the Minister of Local Government, Hon. Pearnel Charles delivered the opening address at a seminar sponsored by Impact General Distributors Ltd. The seminar, which was held at the Kingston Intercontinental Hotel [September 15-16, 1981], was geared to improving the efficiency of management and conservation of Jamaica's water resources. Panelists were provided by the Worthington Pump Corporation, Rockwell International (M & U Division), Cla-Val Company, and the the U.S. Pipe and Foundry Company.
