"Damage estimated at $800 was done to a motorcar belonging to Martins Jamaica.
Police reports are that Rev. Samuel Dreckett of 2 Chang Avenue, Tivoli Gardens, Kingston, was driving the car when it got a puncture at about 9:45pm. Rev. Dreckett left two men to watch the car.
While the pastor was away, five men, three armed with revolvers, came up to the two men and pointing guns at them, chased them away. The men then went about slashing the car. The windscreen, headlamps and windows were all damaged."
