Three-way accident on the Causeway

"Another Causeway smash: at least three people were injured - one seriously - in a three-way accident on the Causeway Monday night. Witnesses said that at about 9:00 pm. the Austin motor car (bottom) had just overtaken the Toyota station wagon (top left) when it collided with a Commer truck (cab door on front of Toyota). The truck then got out of control and collided head-on with Toyota. The driver of the Toyota, Barrington Blake was treated at the KPH and sent home on Tuesday. The driver of the Austin, whose name was not immediately known was said to have been transferred to the University Hospital's Intensive Care Unit. Police said the truck was being driven by Stafford Mullings of a Kingston 11 address."
