Final touches to a pair of porcelain sake falcons
Title
Final touches to a pair of porcelain sake falcons
Description
"The finishing touches are put to a pair of porcelain Saker falcons being made by a small company in the English Midlands, prior to their export to the Middle East.
The Saker falcon originated in Eastern Europe and Asia and, like the hawk and the eagle, belongs to a well defined family of birds of prey. The falcon's long tail and long narrow wings give it amazing maneuverability in flight and enable it to 'hover' over its prey. Hoods are fitted to the high-flying variety of falcons between flights or while they are carried to and from the scene of action."
