"Minister Gilmour Tours Plant: Dr. Mavis Gilmour, Minister of Education, tours Addis [Jamaica] Ltd., which is managed by National Processors Ltd. and produces the Wisdom range of toothbrushes. Dr. Gilmour asks Dr. Irwin Burton, Manager of National Processors and Addis [Jamaica] Ltd. about one of the many intricacies of toothbrush manufacture. Left to right are Dr. Gilmour, Mr. Charles Henderson-Davis, Chairman of the J.I.D.C., Dr. Irwin Burton, Manager of National Processors Ltd. and Addis [Jamaica] Ltd., Councillor George Williams and Carlton Laing, accountant. The tour took place recently at the factory in Temple Hall which houses both National Processors Ltd. and Addis [Jamaica] Ltd., subsidiaries of the Grace Group. Additional space is to be provided by the Jamaica Industrial Development Corp. [JIDC], employing between 25 and 30 more people. A total of 123 workers are presently employed at both plants."
