"Smartly bearing their Standard, members of the Jamaica Branch of the Royal Air Force Association, led by their first vice-president, Dr. Harry Vyse, are shown in their march past the saluting base. Occasion was the State Service held on Sunday at the Kingston Parish Church as a climax to the celebrations of the Battle of Britain Week. The salute was taken by His Excellency the Governor at the entrance of the gate leading to the northern door of the church."
