"Then and now: On January 29, ground was broken to begin construction on the $3.2 million Government financed, Co-operative Dairy Complex at Shettlewood in Hanover. Picture at left shows the states of the site on that day. The construction site (picture at right) was photographed two weeks ago. The scheme is sited on 1,000 acres of land designed to boost the country's milk production by some five million quarts a year. The Shettlewood Complex will supply fresh milk to the multi-million dollar Cornwall Dairy, now being set up by the Jamaica Industrial Development Corporation at Montpelier in St. James.
