"Nutts River fording above, was washed away during the April flash flood and left the remote villagers without an alternative route to get out their agricultural produce. This was one of the flood-ravaged areas Prime Minister Manley, Local Government Minister Ralph Brown, East St. and Parish Councillors visited recently during their hour-and-a-half tours."
