"A fine gesture: Enrolled nurses at the National Chest Hospital yesterday presented a gift of rescure breathing equipment to the hospital. During a brief ceremony Nurse Vernis Alexander [right] presented the gift to Senior Medical Officer Dr. Muriel Lowe. Looking on at centre is Matron Joyce Petgrave Morrison. Previsouly the hospital had one piece of rescue breathing equipment. The enrolled nurses declined to do something about filling the need for more of these vital equipment."
