"Mailmen convene: Parliamentary Secretary Horace Clarke of the Ministry of Public Utilities, being met in Lausanne, Switzerland, by Marc Mangerat, Director of Post, Telegraphs and Telegrams of Switzerland. Mr. Clarke led the Jamaican delegation to the 17th Congress of the Universal Postal Union which began in Lausanne on May 22. Mr. Clarke returned to Jamaica Wednesday. Mr. Rupert Knight, Postmaster General (centre) will act as leader of the delegation until the Congress ends on July 5."
