"Eric Booth from Clarendon won a Gold Award at the recent Festival of Arts Classical Music Competition Finals held at the Cultural Training Centre in Kingston. Eric is the only finalist from outside of Kingston and St. Andrew. A total of 25 gold, nine silver and 14 bronze awards were awarded to 48 finalists. The competition was organised by the Cultural Commission and the Jamaica Music Teachers Association."
