"Sharon Bonner, hails from Clarendon but has been living in Kingston for some years. She is a student at Durham College, doing a commercial course to become an executive secretary. Before that, however, she wants to work in the tourist industry where she will meet people of different nationalities. A Gemini, Sharon at 21 says she is not yet ready for marriage. She can't help thinking, though, that when she is ready the man she wants may not be easy to find. She is very choosy. Her heart throb, she says, must be highly intelligent and possess a good sense of humour. Fidelity must be one of his strong points. Sharon fears that at the rate of which homosexuality is growing in the island, in a couple of years many women will not be able to find suitable partners."
