"JAMINTEL gift to University Hospital: On Friday, January 16, 1981, JAMINTEL made a presentation of a cheque for $1,100.00 earmarked for the purchase of a vacuum extractor unit to the University Hospital's Labour Ward. The machine would cut down the necessity for caesarean section deliveries and fulfilled a vital need for the University's Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ward. Receiving the cheque (R) is Ms. Sonja Phillips, a Sister on the Labour Ward. Presenter is JAMINTEL's P.R.O., Mr. Bill Carter. Prof. Hugh Wynter, Head of the University Hospital's Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Mrs. Clover Chung, JAMINTEL Company Secretary, looks on."
