Guide, the bull
Title
Guide, the bull
Description
"This bull, 'Guide', of the blonde d'Aquitane breed from South West France, is one of 27 exported to France. The breed is an ancient one, originally draught animals, in which development has taken place in the last two decades. They are hardy and give good liveweight gains and excellent meat. The Herd Society export representative, Mr. Christian de Monbrison, was in Jamaica recently to evaluate the prospects of the market here, either for live animals or semen. Mr. Monbrison's visit was sponsored by Ateco Jamaica a division of Reginald Aitken Limited and is part of their continuing interest in the development of all phases of agriculture."
