"One of 20 multi-unit railcars with Rolls Royce C6T MK IV engines of 315 h.p. gross and 292 h.p. net, driving two axles on one bogie through a Twin Disc Torque Converter and a Wiseman final drive built by Metropolitan Cammell Carriage and Wagon Co. and supplied to the Jamaica Railway Corporation in 1962 at a cost of approximately £621,000 (J$1,242,000)." A sign bearing the name "Coastal Express" is seen on the front of the train.
