"Mother in grief - Leonie Forbes, Jamaica's leading dramatic actress appears in The Rope and the Cross, at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Alley. The performance begins at 7pm. The Rope and the Cross features Ms. Forbes in a lead role as Miss Birdie and the mother of Judas in a passion play that looks more closely at Judas, the traitor, and his relationship with Jesus and with his mother. Among other top performers in this mini passion play are Rooney Chambers as Jesus, Grace McGhie as the mother of Christ, Bari Johnson as the shepherd and narrator, Geoff Fairweather as Pilate, Pablo Hoilett, Gary Harvey, Alwyn Scott, Fae Ellington."
