Torvili and Dean gained their third successive world title at the World Figure Skating Championships at Helsinki. They retained the title with a perfect performance before a thrilled capacity audience of 6000 with a highly polished succession of intricate movements, many not attempted before and some possibly beyond the ability of many other skaters."
