Title

Beauties visit shoe factory

Description

"Beauties visit shoe factory: Fifteen ladies who are currently vying for the title of "Miss Ministry of Labour", paid a visit to the Bata Shoe Factory recently. The visit was one of many such arranged by Raymond Skyers, chairman of the Ministry's Recreational Club, as part of the contestants' itinerary leading up to the finals at Casa Monte Hotel today. The lucky lady who emerges winner will receive six pairs of shoes of her choice, compliments of the Bata Shoe Company. Teaching the girls the finer points of shoemaking are [from left] Roy Bruce [partly hidden] designer; Bernard Hannemann, production development officer; and Neville Smart, public relations manager, who welcomed the group to the factory."
