"Plans for a community centre being outlined by Fr. Richard Albert, Roman Catholic Priest for Portmore [right], to Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Community Development, Kingsley Sangster [left]; Mr. H. Winston Blair, Deputy Commissioner of Lands in the Ministry of Agriculture [second left] and Mr. Michael Williams, Councillor for Waterford. A multipurpose building to house the community centre and basic school is to be built on two acres of land opposite the Police Station in Waterford, which were handed over to the Roman Catholic Church by Mr. Sangster on Wednesday."
