Title

Citizens of Craig Town

Description

"South St. Andrew MP Tony Spaulding addressing citizen of Craig Town in Kingston 12, along Clarence Street, last night. Residents had organised to demonstrate yesterday morning in protest against the shooting by police of a youth on Thursday night. But the demonstration was called off after Mr. Spaulding informed them that the police would meet with them. At left in cap is Superintendent C.V. McKay, and at right Superintendent Roy Thompson, who also spoke to the people. Councillor Winston Davidson told the people that if they had demonstrated they would not have done so against the bad elements in the Police Force but against the world force. And when they did this, the police would say they (the people) are against the police."
