"Scout's Founder's Day Service: An ecumenical service was held at Garrison Church, Up Park Camp, on Sunday, February 25 in memory of Robert Baden Powell, the founder of the Scout Movement. Chief Scout and Governor General Florizel Glasspole (fifth from left) read the second lesson. Other's from left: Chief Justice Kenneth Smith president of the Scout Association; Governor General's ADC Capt. Michael Benjamin; Barbara Dunn, president of the Girl Guides Association; and Dr. Edward Lee, Acting Chief Commissioner. A presentation of warrants and awards was also made. Many Scouts, Guides, Clubs and friends attended the service."
