"Kingston's Mayor Ryan Peralto [right] in discussion with the Chief Justice Kenneth Smith, when he recently called on him in his chamber at the Supreme Court.
In welcoming the Mayor, the Chief Justice said he was pleased to received him and that as far as he could remember it was the first occasion since 1965 that a serving Mayor had called on a Chief Justice discussed among other matters the road traffic laws and the urgent need for updating them.
In thanking the Mayor for his visit, the Chief Justice said he felt sure the Mayor would achieve all he wished for in improving the services offered to the public by the KSAC.
The Mayor was accompanied on his visit by his personal assistant Patricia Malcolm."
