"Dockers and Maritime Workers Union president Milton Scott leads his team to a meeting with Pime Minister Michael Manley at Jamaica House yesterday. Mr. Scott is accompanied by delegates Hyde, Feurtado, Singh, Hamilton and Creighton (from left): Partly hidden are delegates Durrant (behind Feurtado) and Guy. The meeting continued discussions on ways of cracking the representational rights dispute at the Jamaica Railway Corporation in which the DMWU is claiming joint representation with the BITU and NWU - a dispute which has caused three periods of dislocation in the rail service over the past eight months. The DMWU is to meet with its membership to discuss further proposals for settlement on Sunday while another meeting with the Prime Minister is set for Monday."
