Market day on the main road at Morgan's Bridge Westmoreland during the colonial period. Wooden buildings are on both sides of the unpaved road. People walking about about, people conversing, people being transported on horse drawn cart.
Water gushes from the hills against rocks into the Roaring River, forming a natural waterfall. There is lush vegetation in the hills and very tall trees on the river bank.
A photographic print showing a sketch of a cotton tree towering over bamboo trees surrounding a thatched hut. A woman and child and a man riding a horse are seen along the road.
Front view of one of the buildings on the Mannings School grounds. The Mannings School owes its existence to Thomas Manning, landed proprietor of Burnt Savannah, Westmoreland who died in 1710.
