George Phillip - Chairman of the Apprenticeship

"Apprenticeship Award Trophy is handed over to the Chairman of the Apprenticeship Board Mr. George Phillip [left] by Mr. H.O. Thompson, chairman of the Joint Trade Unions Research Development Centre on Friday morning. The challenge trophy is to be competed for among registered apprentices int he national apprenticeship scheme. The trophy and the award scheme were inaugurated by the four major unions, BITU, NWU, TUC and JALGO, as part of the observance of Trade Unions Week."
