"New Year baby: Baby McDougal was the first one ushered into the new year at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital yesterday morning. As a matter of fact this infant Jamaican arrival at exactly 12:05am Saturday morning in the wake of the din of the New Year's salute. He has missed one first however, because he is the second child for his mother Janet McDougal, a trainee beautician from Kingston. And Nurse Bailey-Bowen who delivered him approved of him as a bouncing baby from birth when he weighed 7-lbs. 6-ounces, and he gave no trouble."
