Michael Patterson receives Don Tretzel Scholarship

"Don Tretzel Scholarship awarded: Kaiser Bauxite's general manager, Ed Coyne (left) presents the Don Tretzel Scholarship award to Michael Patterson, final year student at the College of Arts, Science and Technology. The scholarship has been instituted by the Kaiser Aluminium and Chemical Corporation in honour of the late Don Cyril Tretzel, a former resident manager of Kaiser Bauxite, who died in 1978.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a selected CAST student in his final year. Mr. Patterson is the first recipient, and is completing a course in electrical engineering.
