Alpart's General Manager Noel T. Chaplin presents a cheque to Ferdie Gunter

"Alpart helps dental clinic: Alpart's general manager Noel T. Chaplin presents a cheque for $2,000 to Ferdie Gunter, president of the Rotary Club of Mandeville, to help building Howard Chevannes Dental Clinic, the club's priority project for 1979. Howard Chevannes, a former Alpart Superintendent and an outstanding Mandeville Rotarian, died in a motor car accident two years ago. This donation to the clinic, being built at Villa Road Primary School, is designed to assist in child dental are in the Mandeville area and is part of Alpart's community development programme, which is giving special focus to the commemoration of 1979 as the International Year of the Child."
