Motor-cylce and pick-up truck crash

"The owner and rider of this motor-cycle, Joseph Murray of a Dumfries Crescent address in Morant Bay, was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital shortly before midnight Saturday in a near unconscious state after the motor-cycle he was riding with Raymond (Ras-Flyer) Lindsay got out of control at a bend near Highbury Crescent and Lyssons Road, and crashed into the pick-up (in background) owned by Jonathan Murray and being driven at the time by Eric Brown of Duhaney Pen near Morant Bay. Bother the pick-up and motor-cycle were extensively damaged bu the pick-up's three occupants escaped unhurt, while Ras Flyer received injuries, when he was thrown on top of the pick-up and fell off in the road. Constable Delroy Bryan of Morant Bay police investigated."
