"Back to the table: Representatives of the JOS [Jamaica Omnibus Services] and UTASP [Union of Technical, Administrative and Supervisory Personnel] came back to the Labour and Employment Ministry yesterday to try and resolve outstanding items of dispute which the union claims could disrupt Kingston's public transportation service.
An assistant director of Industrial Relations, Jack Goberdon [head of table], was chairman of the meeting while JOS management representatives included secretary F.S. barrows [extreme left] Personnel officer Keith Noad and Deputy Managing Director Hugh Bonnick.
UTASP general secretary Reg Ennis [third from extreme right], led the workers delegation.
The meeting did not resolve the issues, but the management promised to take some of the questions to the JOS Board of Directors who met last night."
