German Ambassador Kurt Schmidt

"Opening: The German Ambassador to Jamaica Kurt Schmidt cuts the ribbon at the door to the new Community Centre at St. Andrew Settlement to officially open the centre yesterday. Also seen are Rev. H.V. Spence, Chairman of the function (left). The $58,000 Centre was built with funds from the Bread of the World organisation in Germany. The St. Andrew Parish Church also assisted in the project. The Centre will be used as an Adult Education Centre, a library, a Youth Club, an Advice Service Centre, and a Trades Training Centre."
