Columbus Drive, New Haven
Title
Columbus Drive, New Haven
Description
"A new discovery? It is a known fact that Columbus discovered Jamaica, and it was with this in minds that Columbus Drive in New Haven was named. But little did the citizens think that boats would be needed to sail down Columbus Drive in 1975, almost 500 years later as is evident from the picture above. However, this is not the only road in the area which is in somewhat similar state and as a result have become a breeding ground for fish and preventing delivery of mail and collection of garbage for a month. Residents say from the earliest days of the development the place has been subjected to flooding."
