Hospital gets $500 towards emergency lighting plant

"Hospital gets $500 towards emergency lighting plant: The Royal Bank Jamaica Limited has donated $500 towards the purchase of an emergency lighting plant for the Bustamante Hospital for Children. The plant is badly needed to keep important equipment functioning during power outages. Cavel Chuck, the bank's personal officer, handed over the cheque to Matron Estalla March, a member of the hospital's Fund-Raising Committee, at the bank's Head Office on Monday, April 17. Also present were Trevor Thomas, financial comptroller and Ron Sasso, managing director, who expressed his regret that the Bank was not in a position at this time to provide more substantial assistance with the purchase of the lighting plant.
