"Milk crisis welcomed them: New Minister of Industry and Commerce William Isaacs (right at head of table) and new Parliamentary Secretary Derrick Heaven (left, at head of table) were welcomed to their posts yesterday by a major milk crisis facing the dairy industry. Following the recent Cabinet reshuffle, in their new posts, their fist task was to settle the dispute over an increase in mark-up on milk being demanded by the Jamaica Retailers' Association which has resulted in a boycott of United Dairy Farmers Limited milk. The Minister and Mr. Heaven were meeting with representatives of the dairy industry and trade in an effort to resolve the dispute."
