"Costume designer Raymond Chin (Right) receives a cheque for $500 from Bill Carter, public relations officer of JAMINTEL. This money will go toward constructing the eleven by nine foot costume 'The Magical Garden of San Pan' which has been entered in costume competitions throughout the United States and South America. The costume has it premier the end of next month in Miami, Florida, thereafter it goes to California, New Orleans, possibly Toronto and London. The costume will be modelled by Patsy Yuen. 'San Pan' will be Raymond's entry in the Jamaica Festival competition as well."
