"Top cyclist David Weller's preparation for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, USA, was boosted recently by a gift of two of the leading makes of racing bicycles. The bikes, one from Italy and the other from The United Kingdom, were specially ordered for Weller as has become necessary due to Weller's height. Here Mr. Neil Seaton, of Y.P. Seaton Associates Company Ltd., who provided the US$4,000 gift, pushes David off at the start of training on the National Stadium cycle track. Looking on [from left] are Youth and Community Development Minister, Errol Anderson at whose request the gift was made, National Coach Ted Gray, and Mr. Astor Levy, Administrative Director of the Institute of Sports."
