"NO ENTRY: Workmen putting on the finishing touches of paint to the gate at the intersection of North Street and Rose Lane as the section of North Street between Rose Lane and Princess Street was closed to traffic at 9:00 a.m. yesterday. Vendors (one seen at right), are no longer permitted to do business within the closed area where the Victoria Jubilee and Kingston Public hospitals are located."
