"SPANISH TOWN ROAD FIRE: Curious spectators take an inside look at the remains of the bar and restaurant operated by Bernard McIntosh after it was extensively damaged by fire yesterday morning. Another apartment which housed a syrup factory operated by Michael Lue was also damaged. The 2-apartment building situated at 46 Spanish Town Road was owned by Sita Tewari of 48 Spanish Town Road and was covered by insurance. Cause of the fire was not immediately known but total damage to building and stock was put at $15,000."
