"GREAT BAY Fisherman's Cooperative Shop, which was recently opened in St. Elizabeth, is the first of its kind. Although it is owned by members of the community and run on a cooperative basis, it is supplied with foodstuff at wholesale prices by the Agricultural Marketing Corporation. Selling prices are not as low as at the AMC basic shops, but are lower than those in markets and by higglers."
