Maxfield Park Children's Home
Title
Maxfield Park Children's Home
Description
"SOMBRERO AND THE KIDS - The Sombrero Club on Molynes Road hosted its annual treat for the children of Maxfield Park Home early last week, and here, proprietor Owen Young Chin, his wife and associate are seen with the children."
"WE GOOFED: Last week we published this picture and goofed by describing Mother Young-Chin [centre] as the wife and her son Owen Young-Chin [right] as her husband. For this we apologise. For the past several years the Young Chins, operators of Sombrero Club, Molynes Road, have been treating the children of Maxfield Park Children's Home to an afternoon of merry-making at the Club. This year was no different. At left is one of the house mother who went along with the children."
