William Isaacs being sworn in as Minister without portfolio
Title
William Isaacs being sworn in as Minister without portfolio
Description
"While tears came forth his father's eyes, William Isaacs was sworn in as Minister without Portfolio at Kings House yesterday. It was when Governor General Florizel Glasspole was reminiscing on the good relations that had existed between himself and Wills O. Isaacs, that the tears moistened the eyes. Mr. Glasspole was saying that it must be gratifying for the former HIgh Commissioner to see his son sworn in as Minister. The new Minister, who won the East Kingston and Port Royal seat once held by Mr. Glasspole in Tuesday's by-election, said he hoped that in 30 years time people would be able to look back and say he served his country well.
